Hancock County Veterans Park - Home

Welcome

The construction of the Park has been completed, and was dedicated on Saturday, May 8, 2010. While the construction has been completed, this park was designed to accomodate the addition of granite memorial bricks for as long as there are veterans in Hancock County to honor. We do still have major gifts available for sponsorship, and will continue to seek financial support to provide on-going care and maintenance.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stepped up to honor Hancock County's Veterans with their gifts, time and talents.

The Hancock County Veterans Park has been created in the way of a visible and inviting garden/park that will ensure the service of every American Veteran with ties to Hancock County will be recognized in a permanent way. This will be a hallowed ground to show the respect and honor that our Hancock County Veterans deserve.

Wording of Purpose

To all the Fallen Heroes and all past and present service members who unselfishly served or continue to put themselves in harm's way in order that we can be free, Thank You.
